How long it takes

Brokers set their own pace. Some take a day, others weeks. Privacy laws set deadlines: 30 days under Quebec’s Law 25, 45 days under the CCPA, one month under the GDPR.

Reminders

  • After you choose I sent it, Frame reminds you to check your listing in 30 days.
  • When a check is due, the broker shows Re-check due and Frame asks whether the listing is gone.
  • Choose It’s gone or It’s back.
  • After a removal holds, Frame reminds you to check again in 3 months, in case it comes back.

Why listings come back

Brokers buy data again from public records and other companies, and some create a new listing when your details change. A listing that returns is marked Re-listed.

When it’s back

  1. Open the broker under Removal.
  2. Choose the button that opens its opt-out page, like Open Spokeo’s opt-out page, and send the opt-out again.
  3. Choose I sent it again.

Stopping

Don’t want to follow a broker any more? Choose Stop tracking.
