Opt out of Intelius, Instant Checkmate and other PeopleConnect sites
One PeopleConnect suppression request covers several people-search brands, including Intelius, Instant Checkmate and ZabaSearch.
Which sites it covers
PeopleConnect runs one suppression portal for several brands: Intelius, Instant Checkmate, US Search, ZabaSearch, AnyWho and Addresses.com. TruthFinder has its own form as well.
Steps
- Open the PeopleConnect suppression portal.
- Enter your email and confirm it from the email they send.
- Search for your record, then pick the ones that are you and ask to suppress them.
- In Frame, open Removal, find each brand and choose I sent it.
Good to know
- Suppression hides your record across the brands above. It isn’t the same as asking them to delete it.
- If you live in a place with a deletion right, like California or Quebec, you can also send a deletion request. See Privacy laws, explained.
