Create your Frame account
Sign up with a passkey, Google, GitHub or an email link, and what it means when sign-ups are paused during the private beta.
Before you start
Frame is in private beta. If Sign up says Frame isn’t open yet, new accounts are paused for now. Nothing is wrong on your end, and you can still log in if you already have an account.
- Open Sign up on the website. Accounts are made on the website, not in an app.
- Tick the two boxes: I’m 18 or older, and the agreement to the terms. Every way to sign up needs them.
- Choose Sign up with a passkey, Google or GitHub, or enter your email and choose Create free account.
- If you used your email, open the link Frame sends on the same device. It expires in 15 minutes. Not there after a minute? Check spam or Promotions.
Which email to use
Use an inbox you’ll keep: breach alerts and recovery links go there. Temporary inboxes aren’t accepted, but private relay addresses like Hide My Email, Firefox Relay or DuckDuckGo work fine.
Ways to sign in later
- Passkey: the safest choice. There’s no password to steal, and it works with your phone, computer or a security key.
- Email link: a one-time link sent to your inbox each time.
- Password: optional. If you set one, it needs 12 to 128 characters.
Add or change these in Settings → Sign-in and security.
What it costs
The Free plan doesn’t need a card. Paid plans are priced in Canadian dollars. See Billing and plans.
