Frame agent: Quick and Thorough modes
The difference between Quick and Thorough answers, how the monthly allowance works on each plan, and what happens when it runs out.
Two modes
- Quick: the most useful tools, lighter on your allowance. It’s the default.
- Thorough: more tools and deeper results, using about 3 times the allowance.
Switch modes in the message box before you send. Change the default in Settings → Frame → Default mode.
Allowance by plan
- Free: 15 messages a month, up to 5 a day, Quick only.
- Frame Plus: 300 messages a month, including up to 15 Thorough answers.
- Frame Household: 300 messages a month for each person, and 60 Thorough answers shared by the household.
- Frame Business: the same as Plus, for each person.
Seeing what’s left
The chat shows how much of this month’s allowance is used. Everything resets on the 1st.
When Thorough runs out
Thorough questions still get an answer, from the faster model, until the 1st. Quick isn’t affected. If Thorough isn’t on your plan, a Thorough request runs as Quick and the chat says so.
