What a breach result means
How to read the Breaches screen: breach names, dates, the kinds of data exposed, and infostealer log matches.
What Frame checks today
Frame checks your verified emails against its own infostealer logs. Full breach-database lookups and automatic alerts for new disclosures aren’t live yet, and the Breaches screen says so.
A breach
A breach is when a company’s data was stolen or exposed and your email was in it. For each one you see the name, when it happened, and which kinds of data leaked, like passwords, phone numbers or addresses. Frame never shows passwords or raw records.
An infostealer log
Infostealers are malware that copy saved passwords and sign-ins from an infected device. A match means your email showed up in one of those logs, and the result lists how many sites were captured. Treat it as urgent: the device that was infected may still be.
Adding breaches yourself
- Choose Check on Have I Been Pwned, or open haveibeenpwned.com.
- Back in Frame, type the breach name under Breach you were in.
- Choose Add. Frame tracks the fixes with your other breaches.
