Monitoring and breach alerts
What Frame watches, how alerts reach you, and how to keep them private.
What Frame watches
The Monitoring screen lists the identifiers Frame keeps an eye on. Start with “Watch your sign-in email”, then add more in Settings → Identifiers. Free watches 1 email. Frame Plus watches up to 5 emails, 3 usernames and 2 phone numbers (phones once text-message verification is available).
Breach details
For each breach, the Breaches screen shows when it happened, exactly which kinds of data leaked, and a short checklist: change that password (and anywhere you reused it), and turn on two-step verification. Frame never shows passwords or raw breach records.
Frame checks your verified emails against its own infostealer logs. Full breach-database lookups and automatic alerts for new disclosures aren’t live yet, and the Breaches screen says so. Until then, you can check your email on Have I Been Pwned.
Choosing how you’re told
In Settings → Notifications, pick which events reach you (new breach, new broker listing, removal finished, leak test failed, weekly digest, account and access requests such as support access, household sharing and team requests) and how: in the app, by email or by browser push. Text-message alerts aren’t available yet.
- Private by default: lock screens and emails only say “New exposure found. Open Frame to review.” You can show more detail in Settings → Notifications.
- Quiet hours: email, push and text alerts wait from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM in your time zone (Settings → Profile).
- Digest email: a summary instead of one email per event.
