Frame Business for teams
Start a team, invite people, manage seats and billing, and what owners and admins can and can’t see.
What it is
Frame Business covers a team on one bill. Each person gets everything in Frame Plus on their own private account. Prices are on the Frame Business page: a base fee plus a price per person, monthly or yearly, minimum 3 people. The Frame agent includes 15 Thorough answers a month per person, the same as Plus. Checkout for Frame Business isn’t open yet.
Start a team
- Open Team in the app (or Settings → Billing → See Frame Business).
- Name the team, choose a seat limit and a billing period, and start the plan.
- Invite people by work email. Each invite link works for 7 days.
If you already pay for Frame Plus or Household yourself, cancel it first: one person can’t pay for two plans at once. Your team covers you once it starts.
Seats and billing
- You’re billed for people who have joined, never fewer than 3. Pending invites hold a seat but aren’t billed.
- When someone joins or leaves mid-period, the change is prorated on the next invoice.
- The seat limit is a cap you choose, so the bill can’t grow past what you planned. Raise it to invite more people.
- The owner (or whoever pays) can switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. Everyone keeps paid features until the end of the period.
Roles
- Owner: everything, including billing, the seat limit, roles and transferring ownership.
- Admin: invites and removes members, and sees team totals.
- Member: uses Frame on their own account and can leave anytime.
What owners and admins can see
Names, work emails, roles, whether each person has finished setting up, and team-wide totals (open exposures, removals) once at least three people have joined. They never see anyone’s exposures, breaches, addresses, family members, removal requests, reports or Frame agent chats.
Joining, leaving and being removed
Open the invite link and sign in, or create an account with the invited address. If you leave or are removed, you keep your account and everything in it, and move to the free plan unless you pay for your own.
