What the extension protects
The protections the extension turns on by default, what each one does and doesn’t do, and how to turn one off for a site.
On by default
- WebRTC IP leak protection: stops sites from seeing this device’s local IP address during a call.
- Clean tracking links: strips tracking parameters like utm_source, fbclid and gclid from pages you open.
- Fingerprinting protection: nudges canvas, WebGL, audio and other checks toward common values, per site.
- Block third-party cookies: the site you’re on can still set its own.
- Global Privacy Control: tells sites you don’t want them to sell or share your activity.
- Ad topics and measurement, hyperlink auditing, network prediction and cross-site referrers are trimmed too.
Forget this site
A button, not a switch. After you confirm, it clears the site’s cookies and stored data on this device and signs you out of that site. It doesn’t erase your history or anything the site kept on its servers.
Turn one off for a site
Fingerprinting protection can be turned off for the site you’re on, and Clean tracking links for that site and its subdomains. Any protection can be turned off everywhere on the options page.
When a switch is locked
If another extension or a browser policy already controls a setting, the popup says so and the switch stays locked. Frame doesn’t pretend the setting is its own.
Check the results
Run a leak test with the extension on to see what changed.
